Press the Ethernet tab to set up the Ethernet parameters.

prior to connecting this instrument to your network to verify there

are no conflicts with existing IP addresses.

The Ethernet communication port allows the CPG 2500 to communicate with comput-

ers using 10/100Based-T specifications.

Connecting directly to a PC requires a crossover Ethernet cable. Hub or router connec-

tion requires a straight Ethernet cable.

Before using Ethernet communication, four parameters must be set up: IP, Netmask,

Gateway, and Port.
